Position Title: Chief Financial Officer

Job Scope: 

This was a full-time C-Level position at a company in need of a stronger and more experienced CFO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the corporation in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other regulatory and advisory organizations and in accordance with financial management techniques and practices appropriate within the industry.

Candidate Placement: We successfully placed a +15-year executive level CPA/MBA who had performed successful M&A work in 40 countries for a global conglomerate. 

Key Accountabilities: 

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the organization’s fiscal function and performance
• Participate in the development of the corporation’s plans and programs as a strategic partner
• Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action
• Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization, i.e., evaluation of potential alliances acquisitions and/or mergers and pension funds and investments

Skills, Qualifications & Competencies: 

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior financial managerial position
• Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Master’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred
• License in Accounting Preferred: CPA designation
